Empathy Practice Circle
(Every 4th Sunday @ 4pm)
In a world filled with noise & division, staying present & connected in conversation can be challenging. Our communication is shaped not just by what we say, but by our intention, nervous system state, & our capacity to listen with care. The Monthly Empathy Practice Circles offer a safe, supportive space to build & strengthen mindful & nonviolent communication skills through ongoing practice, such as regulating our nervous system. Each month, participants will learn practical new skills for applying empathy in daily conversations and engage in guided empathy exchanges by taking turns sharing and listening.

Weekly Community Meditations
Weekly Pranayama + Meditation
7:15 am Monday Mornings with Rachael Holmes
Experience yoga beyond movement through the traditional practices of pranayama (breath awareness and regulation) & meditation. These foundational practices are part of the eight-limbed path of Ashtanga/Raja yoga, typically followed in sequence, yet with each limb affecting all the rest. (Yamas - Niyamas - Asana - Pranayama - Pratyahara - Dharana - Dhyana - Samadhi).
Each session includes traditional breathing practices, and time for quiet observation in meditation. Rather than attempting to "empty the mind," these practices invite us to strengthen and steady the underlying energy (Prana) which naturally leads to greater presence and stability.
No previous experience with breathwork or meditation is necessary. Come with curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to simply breathe.
Weekly Dharma + Community Sit
7:15 pm Monday Evenings with Meg Lucks
7:15 am Thursday Mornings with Meg Lucks
Explore the philosophy of presence and compassion through spiritual teachings followed by silent or guided meditation. These classes cultivate a restful mind and an open heart, helping students translate yoga into daily life.
Meditation is considered the heart and crown jewel of many of the great ancient and modern contemplative arts. The essence of meditation, and its many forms, is universal and of deep practical benefit to all. We come to recognize that our minds are often more asleep than awake to the possibilities and beauty of each present moment. While it is within the nature of the mind to go "to sleep", it is also in its innate capacity to serve us in awakening to the fullness of our experience and to use that freshness to the advantage of ourselves, of others and the world all around us. Touching our wakefulness, and purposefully training to do so, benefits all sentient beings.
Session begins at 7:15pm with teachings (shifting monthly), space for group sharing and guided instruction. Forms and teachings honor traditions from both Yoga and Buddhism alike. Your meditation facilitator will provide space for both new practitioners requiring more specific instruction as well as those who are more seasoned in their practice.
Feel free to bring your own cushion or borrow one of ours. Our wonderful sangha/ community has been gathering for nearly 10 years and would love for you to join us!
